Gus Katsadouros

Founder & Managing Partner

Mr. Katsadouros is the founder and Managing Partner for Osprey Capital and its affiliated entities which include Osprey Capital Income Fund, Osprey Capital Fund, Osprey Capital Opportunity Fund, Osprey CRE Funding, and Osprey Capital Partners.  Mr. Katsadouros has over 30 years experience in commercial real estate finance, investments and management. 

 

Mr. Katsadouros founded Osprey Capital in 2009 and has invested in a variety of investments and product types with transaction amounts exceeding $700 Million. Mr. Katsadouros has a proven track record in structuring real estate transactions with volume exceeding $10 Billion.  He was a Senior Managing Director for Wachovia Bank in their Real Estate Investment Banking team, responsible for originating, underwriting and distribution of real estate structured products, including CMBS, Mezzanine and Preferred Equity products.  

Before founding Osprey Capital, Mr. Katsadouros also was a Senior Managing Director and Partner with Osprey Investment Company, which was the Capital Markets division for Osprey SA and its Family Office owners.  He led their origination for their Debt Fund.

 

Mr. Katsadouros was also a Senior Managing Director with GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group, LLC.  He worked with the GlassRatner team to provide capital solutions and alternatives to their clients.  GlassRatner provides litigation support and consulting services to complex transactions to clients across the country.

Mr. Katsadouros has held his securities licenses (NASD series 7 and 63) with Wachovia Securities, Skyway Capital Partners and GlassRatner Securities.  

 

Mr. Katsadouros has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  He also received his Master of Business Administration from Queens University.
